Dr. Christina Oprescu-Havriliuc has been creating beautiful smiles and healthy teeth for over 20 years. Her goal, now and always, is to provide the best diagnosis, the best treatment and the most comfortable dental experience for you and your family.

Ensuring exceptional technical skill and patient care have been the hallmark of Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc’s career. Hence, she was recognized with the distinction of Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (2017), Academy of Dentistry International (2010), and the Academy of General Dentistry (2006).

Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc has taught general and restorative dentistry at universities in Europe and Canada. She currently teaches in the Restorative Department at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. Her own technical skills are constantly maintained and upgraded with professional education in the latest techniques, best practices, and technologies.

Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc and her staff are giving back to the community in many ways both locally and internationally. She is proudly supporting communities through donations, sponsorships, and educational experiences. Her generous contributions promote dental health, general health, and the overall well being of various communities.

Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc promotes oral health education by speaking at local schools, and donates toothbrushes and toothpaste to youth shelters and local community groups throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Dr. Oprescu-Havriliuc also supports art and culture in various communities and groups.

My name is Dr. Ivit Yakub, I received a Doctor of Dental surgery from Dalhousie University. I am motivated to be part of the forces that promote and improve an individual or community’s oral health and well-being. Improving one’s oral health does not depend on mere technical skills and academic knowledge alone. It transcends to combine interpersonal skills, compassion, enthusiasm and an ethical obligation to the profession itself. With this understanding, practicing as a dentist allows me to aid patients with a growing understanding and sensitivity to the vast cultural differences in our communities. Therefore, I continually see the necessity to create mutual trust and respect with patients and I am truly motivated to serve in this capacity. My name is Sandra and my cumulative 15 years experience in the dental field has given me an excellent background in all facets of dental care. As a Hygienist, I provide comprehensive, client centred care in a friendly, professional manner. I ensure my proficiency is upheld by continually taking education courses to provide optimal dental treatment. Beyond providing therapeutic services, my goal is to educate people about the importance of oral healthcare and how it relates to one’s overall health, and to teach and motivate people to maintain an effective home care regime. My Canadian dream is to pursue a career in the healthcare field. I studied General Medicine in my home country and I have learned all these years, while interacting with patients, that I will always enjoy the peaceful feeling of being helpful and the solidarity to contribute to the well being of the patients. Becoming a Dental Assistant is another step in my continuing education and development and gives me tremendous self-satisfaction. I believe it is a fun and rewarding career for individuals like me, which have a strong desire to help and provide comfort to others. My name is Patricia. I may be the newest member of the team, but I come with years of experience. I am a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Level II but my expertise is Administration. My best place is at the reception desk. I am the first person you meet and the last person you see before you leave from your appointment. I love to help people! My strongest skill is communication. I have always worked where that/this skill was very necessary to do my job, and I love it! I am here to help you, the patient, and I am here to help our team. I am tasked to keep everything running smoothly. Therefore, I make sure you do not miss your appointments and help you to keep up with your oral health. I feel honoured to have become part of this team.
