Your First Visit

For your first visit, you can expect to have a conversation about your dental expectations, your dental history, and your medical history to determine your customized treatment. At this time, you may have x-ray and intra/extra oral pictures taken.

Please assist us by bringing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  1. A list of your current medications (prescription and non-prescription)
  2. Dental insurance information, if applicable, you can complete and bring the following forms:
    1. Medical history
    2. New patient’s primary contact information
    3. Office policy

Your first treatment can often be performed the same day of your consultation. However, depending on your specific customized treatment plan, more appointments may be necessary.

Scheduling

The office is open Monday through Saturday, including evening hours. All appointments have to be scheduled in advance. If you have pain or are in an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day, we will schedule the appointment as promptly as possible.

We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact that we provide many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Financial Policy

For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment:

  • Visa
  • Master Card
  • Interac Direct Payment
  • Personal Cheques

Our office wants all of our patients to be able to comfortably afford dental care, but please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

Insurance

Our office understands the value of a patient’s insurance benefits, and will gladly work with you to help get the maximum benefit available. In addition, because we process insurance claims electronically, you can typically expect reimbursements within 5-7 days.*

At all times, you can be confident that we will always provide you with our best services without regard to the limitations imposed by your insurance coverage. We will also gladly provide dental x-rays and a written diagnostic reports should your insurance company have any questions about the services provided.

* No dental plan is meant to be a “pay all” or total coverage plan. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for a portion of our fee. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company.
